The Round Chapel will be taking part in London Open House, do come and join us in exploring the building.
Designed by Henry Fuller & James Cubitt, and built in 1875, the Round Chapel was described by Pevsner as one of the finest Nonconformist buildings in London.
On the Open House day in the auditorium there will be a small exhibition and chance to find out more about and contribute to the Lower Clapton history project, funded by the Heritage Lottery, documenting the work in progress of local people gathering memories and history of the district over the last 100 years.
If you have memories or your own photos of the area do come and share them.
See you at the Round Chapel!
The building is situated on the Lower Clapton Road at the junction with Glenarm Road, E5 0LY.
