About Hackney Historic Buildings Trust

Hackney Historic Buildings Trust (HHBT) has been working with the English Heritage, Hackney Council and other organizations, to manage the borough’s oldest building, St Augustine's Church Tower, and one of Hackney’s most important structures, the Round Chapel, which HHBT owns and runs as a community and arts space.

In addition to caring for and managing these two buildings, HHBT promotes exhibitions, and education projects across the venues it works with.


HHBT is managed by a small and dedicated team assisted by the Trustees.
