Celestial Gong Bath
A Journey of Sound, Energy & Spirit: with Kat Bumbul of Sound Mysterium and Xuan Daoji
Step into a transformative evening where the art of sound healing meets the mysticism of Daoist energy transmutation.
Celestial Gong Bath is a sister event of Psychedelic Gong Bath, facilitated by an experienced sound artist and healer, Kat Bumbul of Sound Mysterium, in a special collaboration with Xuan Daoji, an ordained Daoist priest and practitioner of the ancient art of Dao Yin Shu, who will work in harmony with the vibrational energies of the sound bath. Celestial Gong Bath slightly differs from Psychedelic Gong Bath in a way that you might experience spontaneous body movements. For this reason participants will be encouraged to keep bigger spaces between each other. You can choose to lie down or sit up. It is also fine to experience this gong bath standing (slightly moving).
As you settle into the serene ambience of an old church, Kat will play gongs, singing bowls and other ritual instruments to envelope you with the resonant sounds, vibrations and energy that promote states of gentle to deep meditation. At the same time Xuan will be discretely and silently walking around the church space to guide the subtle energies within you (silent energy work, no physical touch involved), enhancing the healing potential of the sound experience.
Kat’s sound work is often described as of another level, artfully weaving elements of subtle aesthetics, mystery and healing, which is much more than just a relaxation.
Xuan’s guidance is known to bring about unique energetic phenomena, such as spontaneous body movements, cathartic expressions of healing activation, as well as feelings of deep peace, emotional stability and a sense of love.
